What to Expect From Online Counselling
Starting counselling can feel like a big step, especially if you haven’t experienced it before. Knowing a little about what to expect can make the first step feel easier.
I offer person-centred counselling, which means our sessions are led by you - what you’re experiencing, what feels important to talk about, and the pace that feels right for you.
Your introductory call
We can begin, if you would like, with a free 15-minute introductory call. This is an informal conversation where you can tell me a little about what has brought you to counselling, ask any questions you have, and get a sense of whether I might be the right counsellor for you. There’s no obligation to book a session afterwards. If you would prefer to skip the call and book a session, that is absolutely fine also.
Your counselling sessions
If you decide you’d like to have some counselling sessions with me, we’ll arrange 50-minute online sessions, usually once a week.
There is no set agenda and you don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what you want to say. Our sessions are your space. You can bring whatever feels important that week, and we’ll explore it together at your pace.
The practical details
Sessions are £50 for 50 minutes and take place online. Payment is made by bank transfer 48 hours before each session.
